Before you rent — what every condo owner must know
- Confirm you’re allowed to rent. Some HOAs restrict rentals entirely or cap the number of rental units.
- Ask about the approval process. Some HOAs require sign-off from the Board of Trustees before a tenant can move in.
- Find out what paperwork is required. Many HOAs need a copy of the signed lease and a tenant information form before move-in.
